Summary
The 1st XI narrowly missed out on promotion, with untimely rain in a few matches robbed the team of a few valuable points, and the 2nd XI were unfortunately demoted in their first season in the 'A' Division. In the Cup neither side could pass first round opponents Guiseley. Harden were the Club's nemesis in the Keighley Cup, beating the 1st XI in the semi-final, and the 2nd XI in the final. Michael Hardwick won the 2nd XI League Bowling Award (Claughton-Cockcroft Trophy), but Bruce Walker and Ray Bolton could not find the fluency of the previous year.
