CAR PARKING MENSTON CC / THE FOX OUT AND OUT RESTAURANT
Menston CC have been politely requested by the manager of The Fox Restaurant to limit the number of cars in the Car Park, particularly after 5pm. on Saturday evenings. This is to prevent the Dining Customers of the Restaurant being unable to park and thus affecting the trade of the Fox.
Menston CC will be redirecting the home team to park at Menston Railway station. Whilst we do not wish to discourage visitors to the Club we would request opposing teams to try to reduce the number of cars brought to games and, where possible, for alternative car parking to be used. The Manager of the Fox is happy for players to park in the car park whilst dropping off and collecting kit at the beginning and end of the game and, of course, to use the car park when patronising the Bar and Restaurant.
To get to Menston Railway Station follow these directions
From Leeds/Bradford Opposite the American Golf Discount Centre on the A65, just before you get to the Ground, turn left down Station Road and the car park is around 200 yards down the road on the right-hand side.
From Otley/Ilkley Go past the Ground and turn right down Station Road opposite the American Golf Discount Centre. Follow the directions as above from there.
From the Station car park go across the Station footbridge and down the snicket onto the Brooklands Lane. Turn right and follow the road around to where another footpath is signposted. This will bring you out at the Ground.
Menston CC apologises for any inconvenience this may cause but hope that opponents and visitors will be understanding of the Manager’s request.
